Teaching Assistant – Behaviour Specialist

Are you a Teaching Assistant with a real knack for behaviour management, especially with pupils with ASD & ADHD?

An Outstanding Primary School in Hounslow are searching for a Teaching Assistant – Behaviour Specialist to join them ASAP, on a long-term if not permanent basis. You will need to have experience working in schools, i.e a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or similar, looking to step into a niche, behaviour focused role.

The Headteacher is looking for:

  • Someone who can support children to behave, listen, focus and learn.
  • Someone who can draw firm boundaries with children.
  • The role will work with children with challenging behaviour, including those with ADHD & ASD, so prior SEN experience is essential.
  • They want someone who can help the children understand the consequences of their actions and encourage them to behave in class and achieve their best.
  • You’ll mostly be supporting children Years 1, 2 and 3, so experience with KS1/Lower KS2 is beneficial

  • Full time, Mon-Fri, Term Time Only
  • £105-£115 per day
  • Long-term for the remainder of the academic year, with scope for permanent
  • Supporting children with behavioural needs, primarily across Y1-Y3
  • ASAP Start
