PPA Teacher – Part Time – Long-term contract
Are you an experienced primary teacher or HLTA, capable of covering PPA from Reception to Year 6?
A high-performing, Outstanding school in Southwark (very south central and easily accessible) are searching for a PPA Teacher to join them after October half-term. They are searching for an experienced teacher who can hit the ground running, is a team player and is happy to cover PPA across the whole-school.
This position is available for Mon-Weds (3 days) or Mon-Thurs (4 days) for the remainder of this academic year, with genuine scope of becoming permanent from September for the right candidate.

JOB SPEC – PPA Teacher
- PPA Teacher
- Part time – 3 or 4 days per week
- Covering PPA from Reception to Y6
- No planning requirements
- Commence after October half-term
- Long-term contract, remainder of this academic year
- Genuine scope for permanent contract from September 2027
- £180 – £230 per day
CANDIDATE SPEC – PPA Teacher
- Experienced Primary Teacher or HLTA
- Confident, team player and flexible
- Able to start after October half-term and commit long-term
- UK QTS for qualified teacher
- HLTAs must have experience covering PPA classes
SCHOOL SPEC – PPA Teacher
- Ofsted Outstanding primary school
- Excellent behaviour, low SEND and engaged parents
- Established SLT and a close-knit team
- Teaching Assistants in every single classroom
- Located in SE1 – Very easily accessible via train/tube/bus
