As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will work closely with two secondary students on a 1:1 basis, supporting their academic progress while helping them manage ADHD-related challenges throughout the school day. This is a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships, provide consistent support, and help students develop the confidence and strategies they need to succeed.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
- Provide 1:1 academic and behavioural support for two secondary students with ADHD
- Support students across Key Stages 3-5 (ages 11-18)
- Help students remain focused, organised and engaged during lessons
- Work closely with teachers and the SEN department to support learning and wellbeing
- Opportunity to provide additional 1:1 and small group SEN support when required
- ASAP start
- Full-time / Term Time Only
- £105-£115 per day
- Located in Newham
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Psychology graduate or someone with relevant SEN experience
- Experience supporting students with ADHD, Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, Speech & Language needs or behavioural challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- Calm, patient and adaptable approach to supporting learning
- Passionate about making a meaningful impact on students’ lives
