The Academic Mentor for SEN/SEMH role involves providing support for young people with SEN/SEMH needs. This includes ASD, ADHD, dyslexia and more, assisting students in small groups and 1:1. You will also be responsible for helping out in the classroom with Maths, English, Science and more and providing feedback to class teachers.

  • £105 – £110 per day
  • Monday – Friday only
  • Term-Time only
  • Long-Term, Full-Time role
  • Based in Croydon
  • September Start

Academic Mentor for SEN/SEMH needs Role

  • Working in a fantastic, inclusive Secondary School
  • Providing support to pupils with SEN/SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
  • Assisting students with Maths, English, Science, etc.
  • Monitoring the academic progress of individual students through setting and achieving targets

The Ideal Academic Mentor for SEN/SEMH needs

  • A graduate with strong academics, e.g. 1st Class degree or 2:1
  • A passionate individual that is dedicated to supporting children
  • Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Previous employment with a school
