Art Graduate

EdEx are exclusively working with a leading, creatively focussed mainstream secondary school to find them an Art Graduate to fulfil the role of an Art Techinician.

Please note – The School are open to full-time, and part-time candidates.

What will your role entail?

  • Working with students across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • May involve supporting students with mild SEN (ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, Speech & Language issues)
  • Small group and 1:1 work
  • Teaching where required to a KS3/4 basis
  • Using creativity and imagination to engage students with the secondary curriculum

  • Graded “Good” in most recent Ofsted inspection – 2023
  • A medium sized school with 800 pupils
  • Ages 11-18 – Sixth form has 100 pupils
  • Located in Hemel Hempstead
  • A solid SLT in place, well-established with minimal turnover
  • The Headteacher has been at the school for 15 years
  • They have been named as the Top 100 most improved schools nationwide
  • Invited to join the London Mayors’ Gold Club
  • Student behaviour is fantastic – OFSTED praised the “exemplary” behaviour

ROLE INFO – Art Technician:

  • Working with students across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • May involve supporting students with mild SEN (ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, Speech & Language issues)
  • Small group and 1:1 work
  • Teaching where required to a KS3/4 basis
  • Using creativity and imagination to engage students with the secondary curriculum
  • £105 – £120 per day (Scope for part-time)
  • ASAP start
