Do you hold a valid Manual Handling / Moving & Handling certificate and feel confident supporting pupils with personal care needs?

A fantastic Secondary School in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint several experienced Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their team on a long-term basis.

The school requires Teaching Assistants who are confident supporting pupils both academically and with their wider physical and personal needs.

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Role

• Graduate Teaching Assistant

• £110 – £115 per day

• Long-term position

• Full-time

• ASAP start

• Tower Hamlets

• General classroom support

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups

• SEN and additional-needs support

• Personal and intimate care

• Supporting pupils with mobility where required

• Working closely with Teachers and SEN staff

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree – essential

• Valid Manual Handling / Moving & Handling certificate – essential

• Previous school, SEN or Teaching Assistant experience

• Experience with personal or intimate care

• Comfortable supporting pupils with physical needs

• Confident, compassionate and professional

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong safeguarding awareness

• Reliable and able to commit long-term
