Learning Support Assistant – Primary
A welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Waltham Forest is searching for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children both academically and socially, while gaining valuable experience within an outstanding school environment.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide classroom support, deliver targeted interventions, and offer 1:1 assistance to pupils who require additional help.
The school is looking for a patient, proactive and enthusiastic individual who can build positive relationships and help every child reach their full potential.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Learning Support Assistant
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Providing 1:1, small group and whole-class support
- Delivering academic interventions in English and Maths
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs where required
- Full-time, term-time only
- September start
- £105 – £120 per day
- Located in Waltham Forest
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- A graduate with a 2:1 or above, or an experienced Learning Support Assistant
- Passionate about working with children and supporting their development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, nurturing and proactive approach
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
