An Outstanding & Gold Accredited Rights respecting School in Redbridge are looking to recruit an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in a Primary School with ASAP start. No degree is required.

As an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will include supporting the Primary School children with a range of SEN needs such as Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEHM and behavioural difficulties. In addition, you will assist in managing behaviour positively, and create a safe, nurturing learning environment.

The ideal Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant will have a real interest in working with kids, and previous experience supporting children with special needs. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, or therapists looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and well-resourced school.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Supporting children with a range of SEN across year groups
  • Working with children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural difficulties
  • Working in a Primary School
  • ASAP start
  • Full-time / Term Time Only
  • £105 – £110 per day
  • Located in Redbridge

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN – desirable
  • Interest in supporting children with SEN
  • Be patient, resilient, and empathetic
  • Confident in managing challenging behaviour
