An “Outstanding” Secondary School in Maidstone are on the hunt for an Unqualified Religious Education Teacher for a September start. This is a full-time and long-term position for the full academic year, with the option to progress onto SALARIED teacher training.

  • Providing high quality cover lessons across Year 7 to Year 10 Religious Education
  • Teaching pre-planned material & lessons with minimal need to adapt
  • Working as part of a large team of Teachers, including highly experienced teachers and younger, newer teachers to the profession
  • Raising attainment & the quality of learning
  • Inspiring & motivating young minds
  • Managing behaviour effectively
  • September 2025 Start – Full Time – Term Time Only

  • Unqualified Teacher Salary – £21,731 – £33,902 – depending on experience.
  • Located in Maidstone

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Strong understanding of the Religious Education curriculum required
  • Previous tutoring or group teaching experience beneficial
  • Confident speaker
  • Science Graduate with a 2:1 or 1st class degree
  • Strong A Levels and GCSEs
  • Able to commit full time, for the full academic year
