If so, this Wellbeing Support Assistant position is the perfect role for you! EdEx is working with an Outstanding Secondary School in Hammersmith & Fulham that is actively looking to employ a Wellbeing Support Assistant to start ASAP.

As a Wellbeing Support Assistant will be working alongside children with varying SEMH and SEN needs, so a candidate with a degree in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology would make a perfect fit for this position.

Aside from having the opportunity to gain first-hand experience with the pupils, you will also be working with a variety of qualified staff such as the teachers, SENCO, onsite Therapists and Psychologists. This gives you a great opportunity to build on your skills before embarking on a future career as an Educational Psychologist, Therapist, Counsellor, Youth Support Worker etc.

JOB SPEC – Wellbeing Support Assistant

  • Wellbeing Support Assistant
  • Working closely with students across KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Assisting the lead class teacher in delivering the lessons
  • Delivering 1:1 and group support sessions to SEN & SEMH students
  • Assisting students with varying SEN & SEMH needs (ASD, ADHD, Depression etc)
  • ASAP Start – Full-time position
  • £105 – £110 per day – Term time only
  • Located within Hammersmith & Fulham
